BOUNTYBOUNTY

How it works

01

Create a bounty

Sign in with X.

Paste the token contract.

Give the bounty a title.

Describe the task and the requirements, and optionally set a deadline.

There are no fixed bounty categories.

A bounty can be a tweet, image, meme, website, video, research task, tool, document or almost anything else.

02

Task review

The BOUNTY agent reads the request and evaluates its complexity and clarity.

The current protocol uses one standard reward: 0.1 SOL per approved bounty.

The complexity analysis helps workers understand what they are taking on.

It does not change the reward.

03

Do the work

Anyone signed in with X can open an active bounty and work on it.

Submit a short explanation, a proof URL and an optional image URL.

Submission text is limited to 500 characters.

04

Moderation

The person who created the bounty reviews the work.

They can approve or reject.

Rejected submissions require a written reason.

The first approved submission completes the bounty.

05

Get paid

Approved work creates a payout request.

Rewards are funded by the public $BOUNTY treasury:

Workers can choose X Money or a direct Solana wallet, depending on available payout infrastructure.

06

Where the money comes from

$BOUNTY creator fees accumulate inside one public treasury.

That treasury funds work requested by the community.

The money does not disappear into a private dashboard.

The wallet is public and anyone can verify the balance.

07

Reputation rule

Repeatedly submitting work that gets rejected affects your reputation.

If an X account reaches 3 or more rejected work submissions, it loses access to creating new bounties.

This rule is part of the BOUNTY reputation policy.

Trust & safety

Trust & anti-abuse system

BOUNTY is designed to prevent spam, fake activity and multi-account abuse — so rewards go to real contributors.

01

X account requirements

Every participant uses a verified X identity.

Newly created or suspicious accounts may have limited access.

Account history and activity signals can be used to reduce spam and low-quality submissions.

The goal is not to block real users, but to reduce artificial activity.

02

External security layer

BOUNTY uses additional backend security systems outside of the frontend application.

These systems analyze activity patterns and help detect Sybil behavior, multi-account farming and coordinated abuse.

Frontend identity alone is not considered enough proof of uniqueness.

03

Wallet and funding analysis

Wallet activity can be analyzed automatically and manually.

The system checks signals such as:

  • Wallet funding sources
  • Funding timestamps
  • Connections between wallets
  • Transaction patterns
  • Repeated account creation patterns

Wallets that appear connected through the same funding source or suspicious timing patterns may be flagged for additional review.

04

Automated + manual review

BOUNTY combines automated detection with manual review.

Automated systems look for suspicious patterns at scale.

Manual review can be used for flagged cases, disputes or unusual activity.

The goal is to keep the marketplace open while protecting contributors and creators.

05

Bounty lock period

Once a bounty is published, it cannot be instantly removed after receiving submissions.

Completed bounties remain publicly visible for at least 48 hours after completion.

This creates transparency and prevents creators from deleting history after work has been completed.

Bounty history remains part of the public reputation record.

06

Reputation system

Every action contributes to reputation.

Creators build reputation through completed and fairly reviewed bounties.

Contributors build reputation through successful submissions.

Repeated abuse, fake activity or bad-faith behavior can reduce access to future BOUNTY features.
